- Providing what the Global Arbitration Review refers to as “a bolt-on service” for lawyers worldwide;
- Involved at all stages of an investment dispute; from initiation to award; and from annulment to collection;
- Teaming with co-counsel to improve oral and written arguments; and
- Working with law firms of all sizes, governments, NGO's and First Nations.

- Providing timely advice on the conduct of highly specialized investor-state arbitrations, including:
- Strategically framing theories of the case;
- Taking advantage of access to information legislation;
- Gathering and presenting evidence;
- Advising on arbitrator selection and challenge; and
- Assisting with the drafting, editing and presentation of arguments.

- Providing legal opinions to governments, NGO’s and potential claimants on applicable investment treaty provisions;
- Providing evidence to national courts on questions of international economic law;
- Providing expert evidence before international courts and tribunals; and
- Providing strategic advice to counsel during the course of a dispute, without making an official appearance on the record.
